
FROM CONCEPT TO ‘PRODUCT OF THE YEAR’ ACCOLADES FOR ATHLETES: SCAPE stands for Skin Cancer Awareness Protection and Education. In the Spring of 2010, Smack! Media helped shape the strategic marketing plan, social media strategy and drive PR exposure for this innovative sunblock that does not run into eyes. In only 6 months, SCAPE became an instant hit with athletes, retailers and the media, to the point that product sold out much faster than expected.
SCAPE was worn by several athletes at the Ironman World Championships including 2010 World Champion Mirinda Carfrae, 2009 World Champion Craig Alexander and other renowned triathletes such as Linsey Corbin, Mac Brown, Katya Meyers, Charisa Wernick and Ben Greenfield.
