While Rebecca has won 14 triathlon races in the last 2 years, Laurel is a cancer survivor whose race performances earned her USAT’s “Pro Rookie of the Year” in 2008. The Wassners are ambassadors for TEAM FIGHT to raise awareness for cancer in young adults and appeared in a national television campaign for LIVESTRONG.
