Superfood Smoothie Bowls To Satisfy Your Summer Sweet Tooth

Cool off and satisfy your sweet tooth with these healthy and beautiful smoothie bowl recipes created by Eli Carlson. Yes, we know she is pictured below drinking a maragarita (as is her Friday evening tradition), but she is just as religious about her smoothie bowls, which are so simple to make that we dare you not to get addicted!

Summer Smoothie Bowl Recipe
1/2 cup almond milk OR 1/2 cup cold brew coffee if you want a kick or a “Buzz Bowl”!
1/2 cup frozen raw pumpkin puree (you can buy this canned, but make sure it’s not the one full of sugar)
1/4-1/2 avocado (I use 1/2 because I like and need the extra fat)
1 scoop of @paleoproducts chocolate plant protein
1 T @navitasorganics maca powder (great for overall energy, endurance and health)
1 T Raw Cacao powder (I use @TrueVibeOrganics for this and the maca powder, I love their branding too!)
About 6 ice cubes

Put all ingredients into a Ninja Food processor or Vitamix.  Blend Away.  Pour into bowl, add toppings and if you’re patient enough, stick it in the freezer for about 5-10 minutes before you eat.

You can vary toppings but my favorites are:
Blueberries

@elementalsuperfood Super Food Crumble

Bee Pollen
Raw Cacao Nibs
Some of Eli’s other favorite variations include:
Paleo mint chip smoothie bowl  with ingredients that includ mint from our garden, spinach and avocado. Eat your colors!
Or an Acai bowl…but the real stuff, not the sugar stuff. Topped with my faves – bee pollen and raw cacao nibs & loads of @livebeaming GF superfoods granola & raw honey.

One of the cleanest grass-fed protein powder with collagen we’ve seen.  We’ve coined it to be the first Farm to Shake [not Factory to Shake] protein powder and it’s absolutely delicious – in everything: icecream/shakes/smoothie bowls/just mixed with water.  They even have an  All-Greens One and a Sweet Potato Recovery shake, that pass the ‘delicious test’ when mixed just with water. Loaded with collagen, vitamins, minerals and a whopping 26 grams of protein per serving.
