Sara attended Princeton University, and earned NCAA First Team All-America honors in 2009 and 2010 in the sport of rowing. Upon graduation, Sara declined some offers from Wall Street to follow her dream of becoming an Olympian. While traveling along the “road to London,” she earned the title of World Champion in the Women’s Four in both 2010 and 2011.
At the 2012 Olympic Trials, Sara and her boat partner secured their Olympic spots in the Women’s Pair in a dramatic come-from-behind win where they made up a margin of 5 seconds in the final moments of the race. Sara went on to finish fourth overall at the London Olympics (just 0.2 seconds from Bronze!), racing against the world’s best athletes. While at Princeton University, Sara earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Her creativity and ambition help Sara excel at securing the media’s attention through her authenticity and ability to position creative stories.
